I was asked to design the layout for a NYC guidebook. I was thinking of cotton candy and listening to Katy Perry's Chained To The Rhythm while putting it together. The theme is hazy with a lot of white space to contradict the busy city. It is meant to emanate the feelings of those who love it. The very popular Pantone colors of 2016 are the basis of this project's color palette.
